Summer Event Ending October 1st

Thanks to everybody who participated in the Summer Event! Although we've extended the event one week until October 1st, thanks to your efforts, the kill counter will no longer increase.

Reward items will be distributed to players during maintenance on October 1st. This will give everyone time to make sure their common banks have enough inventory space to receive items. If your common bank does not have enough room for an item, you will not receive it and the GMs will not be able to assist you. SO BE SURE TO MAKE ENOUGH ROOM IN YOUR COMMON BANK TO RECEIVE ALL REWARDS BEFORE OCTOBER 1ST.

Rewards to be distributed into the common bank are as follows:

- Item Ticket x 1
- Elenor Mag Cell x 1
- LOGiN x 1
- 30 Event Eggs (provided you have at least 8,000 event kills on your account)
- Ultimate Christmas Present (provided you have at least 15,000 event kills on your account)
- Summer Gold Badge x 2 (provided you have at least 12,000 event kills on your account)
- Summer Silver Badge x 10 (provided you have at least 12,000 event kills on your account)


Also, for clarification, when we say "kills on your account", we mean kills across all characters. The kills between the characters on your account will be added to get the final value. For example, for 30 Event Eggs, you need 8,000 event kills on your account. If your character in slot 1 has 5,000 kills and your character in slot 2 has 3,000 kills, your account will receive the 30 Event Eggs. (5,000 + 3,000 = 8,000)

Sorry, for the downtime for the past few hours. There was a scheduled reboot of the server by the host and I totally forgot about it. Bringing stuff back up now.

Summer event update! 2 million kills reached!

Congratulations at all the participants in the event at reaching 2 million kills in 15 days! Just one day over 2 weeks! With 4 weeks and a day to go until the event ends September 24th, reaching the goal of 6 million kills should be easy. :)

That said, the 2 million milestone was an additional 100% experience, so in combination with the normal experience milestone hit this week, the current rate of experience is 3x. Way to go, guys and girls!

Continue to kick butt out there and earn some awesome rewards!

Side note: Hardcore mode has been hit with a slight nerf in regards to experience milestone bonuses. From now on, Hardcore mode will only ever have 1x exp more than Normal mode at any given time. Thus, when the regular experience milestone is hit, instead of 4x exp as previously had, they will now have 3x exp. In combination with the event milestone, they still have 4x exp, but nothing more after new games are created from this point forward.

Possible connectivity issues for some users

Just read this notice from our bandwidth/server provider (sent about 4 hours ago):

We have contacted Telia to ask them about this. Clients whose ISP reaches us via Telia may notice skipping or other performance problems with services in Chicago;[/quote]

If you're having issues staying connected while playing on Fodra, which is located in Chicago, Illinois, you may be affected. Simple solution is to just play either Auldrant, which is located in Seattle, Washington or Lumireis, which is located in Frankfurt, Germany.

Fodra now properly logging Fiasco kills...

So, apparently, when I did the update yesterday morning, I forgot to update the Fodra ship, but did update the other two ships. Could have sworn I did all 3, but must have did one ship twice. (Woops!)

As I explained in the Summer Event topic, Fodra was NOT logging players' individual kills as event kills nor was it adding to the event counter.

I'm, unfortunately, unable to know exactly how many kills each player did individually on Fodra in Fiasco, but I was able to guesstimate at the amount of total kills should have been added to the global counter based on the number of times Christmas Fiasco was completed.

We won't be compensating players on their lost individual scores for this mistake, but we have went ahead and added 50,000 kills to the global event counter.

I apologize sincerely for this mistake and hope you will still enjoy the event!
